I’m not going to put a buffer or tag this a politics, because it’s not, it’s public health and safety. Look, I get it, masks are not comfortable nor convenient, but just shut the fuck up and wear them when you’re in public places , people.

I totally get why, but people who work outside doing heavy manual labor (concrete workers, steel workers, etc) in the heat. It make the job way harder on the body then it already is.

I really just don’t get it. Like at all. I live in Alabama. It’s hot, humid, and I wear glasses. I have no problems wearing a mask. Like yeah, sure I’m inconvenienced, but it’s literally the least I can do for my fellow man.

The fact that you specifically had to say that it’s not a political issue is just depressing honestly.

I haven’t had the energy to watch any of the videos floating around of people acting shitty when told they can’t enter the store without a mask.

When I saw the FP article a few weeks ago  about requiring masks on planes, I posited it would be very difficult for flight attendants to enforce the rules, and it sure sounds like that’s the case. It’s much much worse for random low-paid retail workers to have to try to keep people from being jerks.

Ears sore daily from the elastic (need to find better than the disposable) but lets all pretend we care about humanity and mask up! Today my state closed in person indoor dining again after this weekend and is questioning schools openening next month..we are doing better than average at that!

I had to stay in a hotel in Chicago a couple days ago. Illinois has a mask mandate and the hotel had about fifteen signs stating “NO MASK, NO ENTRY.”

Not a single damn employee was wearing one.

For some reason the elastic doesn’t bother my ears, but it keeps catching on a cartilage piercing on one of them. My homemade ones all tie so that’s less obnoxious.

We’ve got the same issue in Missouri a ton of fucking people not wearing masks. Some places it’s like 1/10 that wear them and it blows my mind.

It’s not comfortable but it’s one of  the best ways to not get/spread Covid-19 so fucking do it when you leave the house!

Most employees in our plants wear them on their faces (we have had company guidelines in place for weeks now requiring them) , only half seem to cover their noses, some only cover their chins. People fucking suck. Hail the apocalypse.

When people I encounter at work ask me if I have trouble breathing wearing a mask all day, every day, I respond with a simple, “Sure, it’s not ideal. But I can breathe better on my own with this than I would with a ventilator.”

How about we make an exception for those that refuse to wear their mask - you can do without, but you have to sign up to be an organ donor.

Yeah, I know it won’t work because chances are that those that refuse to wear a mask or more likely to kill someone else, not themselves. Like most of  2020 it’s a no-win situation...

Regular intakes at our local hospital are testing positive for COVId, these are people in for stitches or knee surgery. There are tons of people out there that are not showing symptoms. I don’t want to give this to my family as much as get it myself.

The ear loop masks all hurt my ears too, so I often use a paperclip to hold the two sides together behind my neck. It’s tighter , but far more comfortable for me.
